Pentecost Chalk Party

During Pentecost we reflect on the beginnings of the church. As the disciples assembled, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak to those outside as the Spirit enabled them. On May 23, join the Faith Formation Ministry in writing God’s love around the church. We will host a chalk event outside on the front steps of the Atrium. We will begin by writing “Jesus Loves You” in various languages around the church. We encourage all families, children, adults or elderly to add messages or pictures sharing the good news of God’s grace on our walkway for the community to see. We ask that masks be worn, and we will mark spaces so families can be properly distanced or staggered. You can use some of our chalk or bring your own. All are welcome no matter the age. Pre-packaged treats and drinks will be provided. Please feel free to stop by and share in the community of fellowship even if you are not interested in using the chalk. Chalk and snacks will be available on the front steps after the worship service concludes. This event will be cancelled in case of rain. If you have any questions, please contact Aliyah Kennedy.
